Default help with suspension setup

I am currently trying to get my car to hook

right now it makes about 385rwhp cam only.

4k stall, 3.42 gear, car spins through first and second on warm drag radials.

I would like to get the competition 3 way adjustable shocks for the rear and kep the stock springs there. in the front I want the qa1 shocks but am unsure of the springs. can anyone help me out here? also is there anything I am missing to make me car hook like a ****?

put a softer spring in the rear and some stiffer springs up front like some 60/40's or 90/10's. With your power 90/10's would be nice. I have the AJE front suspension set-up (pics in sig) and my car dead hooks at 667RWHP on a stock rear and stock rear suspension. Its all about getting the weight out of the front and in the back or just gone for that matter. Hope this helps a bit......QA1 is a nice piece for the money my front set-up was a bit on the pricey side but I dropped over 7 tenths when I changed just the front set-up.

EDIT: You get what you pay for. Good luck

leave the stock springs on the front and back, just get a set of qa1 shocks for the car... the gains will be well worth it.

I use the 300# QA1 springs in the front and leave the back alone. With the 12 way adjustable QA1's all the way around. Fill in the rear with tire The Hammer mod works well and the fenders rolled.

Which drag radials? size? Torque arm?
I would say with a "good" set of drag radials, torque arm, tubular or boxed lower control arms, Hals and maybe an airbag you'll hook no problem.
