im curious i used to run a 26 inch et drag with 4.56's...im now on a 28 inch et drag...im curious to know since i went to a taller tire should i go to a 4.88 gear to get the same results as i did with the 4.56 and 26's....i guess what im trying to find out is the car is 1/8 mile only..will the car pick up from going from 4.56's to 4.88's..

heres the set up 346 cam only motor car
th350 with a 305 first gear with trans brake
8 inch 5500 verter
t rex fast 90 90
1 7/8 kooks header with bullets offf the end
12 bolt full supension
stock heads

car weighs mid 2800 pounds..
