not so sure I like that... but I understand teh purpose, as it does look odd without anything in the cutouts... when I had my tank dropped to do teh racetronix a few weeks ago I had the car on the ground to see what it looked like without the tips there.... looked like something was missing. Made my decision that when I finally drop my qtp Y and LM, that I will have the duals run all the way out the back.. just have to find a muffler that will sound o.k. The stainless ricer mufflers would look pretty good in the cutout, just not sure how that would sound... hopefully it doesn't make a big CI n/a motor sound like a 1.8 litre honda LOL

Do you think they would look better in silver? I was debating on black or silver but I decided on black because I just wanted the spaces filled and I didn't want to make them stand out too much. I also thought silver would look a little ricey.
I also thought about running the exhaust all the way to the back but I need all the weight I can take off the car.

I hear ya, my car's a pig too... but once I get the bottle in teh car, a small jettign change will make up for the slight weight increase

BUt, on the other hand, I'll be havign 3 bolt flanges put on the headers, the cats, a set of pipes to take teh place of the cats for emmissions, and at the exhaust before it goes over the axle, and probably at the mufflers, or at least after the pipe is over the axle,so if I wanted to take the whole thing off it would be easy enough to do and run it open at the track, with just a set of turndowns bolted up or something.

I dunno how silver would look, if you were to paint them the same color as the body, it might look better.

I dunno...

I'm actually a big fan of the TA-with-no-tips look...
