Whats a good 3" muffler for true duels thats not too loud
I want to change my exhaust. right now I have pacesetter 3" headers with true duel into 3"x12" dynomax bullets. the bullets are a little louder than I want. All I do is bracket race the car. I rarely drive it on the street maybe 100 miles a year or so. I want a good performing and sounding but quiet as possible and still have a little sound to it. I would like to have some that I can start up the car without the whole neigborhood wondering what just happened. when I am working on the car I take it somewhere else to work on it so I don't bother the neighbors. Also sometimes I need to drive it down the road to test something and I have to really watch it with it being so loud.
I have been looking at these. any thoughts on these or other suggestions

borla xr-1s, round. and member speed density is selling them. He said they are "dissapointingly quiet." They are also straight through so they will not be as restrictive as the flowmaster you posted.

i've had the spiral flo's and they were pretty good.
i just did what SUX2BU did and ordered two magnaflow mufflers. I ordered part number MPE-11219(do a search in summit).
Got these because they have the same height as a bullet muffler. and according to his posts, they are alot quieter than a bullet.
do a search in this section for "magnaflow" and it should be the first topic that comes up

TSP reccomened their x pipe with sweet thunders on them.
would that be something like I am looking for or will they be too loud.
I would like the x pipe because now I have two seperate pipes that do not connect at all. that is why I was looking at TSP because I knew they had a x pipe. they said either can get 18" bullets or sweet thunders.

I've had 4-5 combos, here are my reviews:
Bullets: Way too loud with a h/c setup, gave me a headache
XR1: Nice tuned sound, tucked up good
ATR Pitbull: Nice but packing blew out
Dynomax: Current setup; nice, deeper and louder than XR1's.
All in all I prefered the XR1's, and the Magnaflows are #2.
