What all is required when mini tubbing? I've been throwing the idea around for a while after seeing it on the wolfe website, but didn't know what all was involved.

mini tubbing is a PITA and very time consuming. i back-halved my car and it seemed like it was more straight forward than my friend mini-tubbing his car. here are more pics as requested.

It ******* sucks!! Unless you like breathing all the fumes from the galv. dipped body and seam sealer. With that said, if I did it again it take a lot less time because I know where to cut and don't have to sneak up on it 5 times.

Oh, yea did I mention it sucks!

So would a mini tub be required to fit this tire? Or would it it by working the front metal, and the rear bumper?

my bumper is only trimmed about a 3/4 inch on the lip and then what i did was bent the little bracket on the bottom around to the outside of the car and shot a screw through it and the bumper to hold the bottom of the bumper about 3/4 of an inch towards the outside of the car... I'm gonna more then likely make a new tab and put the plastic fastner in the bumper to hold it there, but the screw works also... and just for reference, in this pic the roof of the car is about as high as my sternum, if that.. I'm 5' 8".. the cars pretty low..lol...

hey JPMuscle, my frame rails are 29" apart. i still have about 7" of space between the inside of the tire and the frame rail. i wanted to make sure that i could fit a much bigger tire if i ever wanted to put one on there. i could easily fit a 32x16x15 under there.

thanks for the Info, im prolly gonna end up doing something around a 24in kit im looking to run a little bit bigger tire than that. somwheres around 33x20x15. im gonna have pro street radials under it instead of slicks being street driven and what not.
