28' tends to be a trailor with a larger gvwr - tends to be a big jump in price. if you can afford it, always go bigger (assuming your truck can pull it easily)

I've got a 2005 F-250 Harley Edition Diesel with the 12,500 tow package. The 28s look insanely long.

Ide go either 26' or 28'. Most people usually put cabinents up front that are 2' deep then you only end up with 22' of floor and it gets cramed. On 28' trailers most manufacters go from a 6" frame to a 8" frame. To me its worth the extra money to go 28'. Ide also invest in a good hitch that uses stabilizer bars. it makes a huge difference. Spending money on upgrading to 8 lug axles is a good idea as well. over time the 5 and 6 lug axles tend to bend. Its all in what you can afford realy. And think about resale value to when your picking out trailers/ options.

Also, once you start pulling the trailer youll get use to the length. Our racing rig is 78' long total. We pull the trailer w/ a freightliner Columbia. At first i was like wow this is a lot of rig. Now i can drive it with my eyes cloesed. youll adjust fast.

ive used a 24 and ive owned a 28, the 28's usually have the 5200lb axles, the 24's only have the 3500's normally. the 28' was more comfortable for me to work in, had better storage and cabinets, the 24' was just too short imo, however, if you are pulling it with a diesel i would go 28'. i pulled mine with my dmax 2500 getting 13-14mpg @70mph loaded down

We have a 28' and are getting rid of it for a larger trailer yet. The 28' was pretty much the ideal length for what we've been doing over the last few years. But now with the golf cart, tools, parts, etc. it just takes more room than the 28' can provide us.

I have a 30'. I can load the SS, a track cart, tool box, 55 gallon gas, all my personal stuff. I have A/C and heat. It's a tight fit and everything has to be put in its place, but it works . Look at all the trailers out there. Best place I have seen a lot of trailer is on www.racingjunk.com .

I'll attach a picture from Thunder a couple years ago. Towing is not to bad. You'll have to make sure you get the hitch, load-levelers, and sway bar.

Listen to everyone, do not get the 24'. You will out grow it before u realize it.
28-32' is what u need for all the toys we carry, fuel, canopy, golfcart, gen's, BBQ ect.

If you plan any travel, or running a series, I recommend a 5th wheel. You get an 8' sleeping area, and they tow much nicer.

We are probably going to build a 40' stacker for 2 cars, golf cart and all the crap u need when out of town. The 32' guy has it right, the little extra weight is worth all the room. Nice rig. Can't live without A/C & canopy.

Definately get the 28' over the 24'... You will regret it if you dont atleast go '28. A local friend of mine that runs ORSCA Outlaw 10.5 just bought a new trailer and rig that is '99ft in total length! Its BITCHIN!!!!!!!!! (not too mention the 2500+hp twin turbo'd stang that rides in it)

Yeah I know.. Its NASTY its sooooo long!! Its a black Kenworth ToterHome with all the bells and whistles and a matching black double decker trailer. Both have sleeping quarters, bathrooms, kitchens, etc etc.. Plasma tvs, surround sound, blah blah blah.. Its Ken Rainwater if you keep up with ORSCA racing. Same setup that Jack Barfield has!
