16x8 Salad shooters.

They look bad as is, but with a ******* crater and shiny BFH, they will look worse.

spray paint the "shiny BFH" as you call it and you won't be able to see it.. and the "******* crater" should be hidden by your wheel/tire...

Well.............that just might work.

I had 28" slicks, but i refuesd to cut the outer fender so i sold them.

I might just do that.

I never ran a 28" slick because of the cutting either. I don't think that would look bad with stock size wheels at all. Thanks a ton for the pic.

275-60-15 DR's, 28x9x15 ET Drags, and 28x11.5x15 Hoosier DOT's all fit without doing much bodywork. On a 15x8 rim they are much narrower than say a 28x10.5 slick.

Here are pics of my 28w's on 15x9.75 Bogarts, the tires are like a foot wide...

I fit them in 325/50/15 on a 10in drag lite A **** load of caliper grinding alot of beating of the inner fender time will tell if it was worth it. I think im going to mini tub it this winter when i have time. To make more room.

Not a 4th gen, but they are 15x10 prostars with 7.5" BS... 325/50/15 MT DR and a 4th gen Moser 9". I had to do the same mods as you guys though... BFH the inner fender and remove the bumpstop. Other than that they're fine

It is worth it! Here is the only pic I have of mine sitting still - they fit good IMO.

From talking to MT at PRI, the 28W and 325 DR are basically the same size.

I luckily baught the Strange rear drag brakes the same time I did the WELD draglites, no caliper grinding at all for me . You need to do a little extra cutting for a 28" slick because of the extra room for growth you need, where the MT DR's don't grow.

Everyone seems to say 28s. 28 x what? I was running a set of 28 x 10.5 ET streets on 16X8 wheels (stockers) and with the LCAs adjusted properly would not rub the bumber. A little on the inner wheel wells, but only on turns really and I think a PHR and small spacers would fix that. Any experiences with 28x10.5 ET drags on 15x10 7.5bs Prostars? I do not want to hack up my car.

You will have to BFG some sections of the inner fenderwell cuz the wider slicks will rub. Mostly have go BFG the front upper corner above the LCA's.

I did a little bit with the ET streets so a little more should not be too bad. I just need to get the wheels/tires now. I have all the adj. suspension now.

If I can fit a 28x10.5x15 ET Drag (full slick) on a 15x10 with 7.5 backspacing with no issues, can I fit a 325/50/15?

Thanks

What in the hell is a BFG? You mean BFH?

Anyway, I run the 325/50/15's but for some reason I am very close to my back bumper, even after cutting. I do have adjustable LCA's but they are set to stock length.
