well they were not much help in the wheels and tire section so


i have done a search and on says they fit easy and one say no problems


SOOO what does it take to fit these on a camaro and will they even fit my car because it is lowered 1.5 inches ?
if not what is the biggest tire i can fit on it ?

this tire will be going on a 15x10 with 7.5 bs and my springs are suspension techniques from jegs if that matters

 

my car is lowered 1 inch in teh back...and i had to roll the fenders..BFH the ever living shiz out of the innner fender wells, and cut my bumpstops off.

 

Same here. Cut out the bumb stops and massage the inner wheel well. Totally worth it though b/c people **** all over them selves when they see tires on the car.

Are you guys lowered with lowering springs? I took the spacer off of my stock springs. I've heard it lowers the car 3/4" Any of you have to use adj lca's or phb?

I can't get it any lower.

 

Search in the wheel and tire forum under my username, I have them and I'm lowered. You will have to hammer the wheel well, and maybe trim the back bumper (I did). I also run some very small spacers, like 1/4" I think. This is mainly for the brake caliper clearance, but w/o the spacer I am going to have to hammer more. You might need an adjustable p/h rod, I have one but didn't need it to clear them.

roll the fenderlips, hammer inner wheel well. Bumperstop isnt a problem IF you always place the jack under the rearaxel.

Im in the process of fitting these on with a 10" wide 7.5 backspacing. Your going to have to hammer the **** out of the inner fender I just made a tool in the shop to fit on my air hammer to make it a little easyer Ill post pics up once im not lazy and go fit them in.

Here is my main question, Do you have to cut the rear outer fender?

And are cutting the bumpstops and BFH noticable on 16x8 stock wheels? Ill be running those for most of the time.

 

On non-adjustable lcas, you have to cut or they touch. At least mine did.

 

The 325 DR's don't need to cut fender. The 28" ET drags will need to cut the fender because they grow about an inch.

 

So is the bumpstop, the sheild directly to the rear of the wheel?

The bumpstop sits right in the middle upper part of the fender and has a big yellowish rubber piece bolted to it. I had to cut mine off.

the work shown in the picture was what it took to barely fit the 325's. I then went back and cut a lot more of the bump stop area out where out, following the red half circle.


The oval is where you need to hammer a LOT. I tried an air hammer, which did NOTHING. I used a normal hand hammer, then i brought out my big sledgehammer to finish it off.

I used metal snippers to cut the rear fender where it says "TRIM"

 

Wow!!! That so cool.

And it would totaly make my stockers look like dick!!

Ill have to pass.
