Just got my PC 680 and the terminals don't match the OEM cables. What did you guys do to mate up to the PC 680?
Thanks for any help

Buy the 'gold' terminals that are sold with it.

I removed the bolt from the factory cables and installed the bolts that were supplied with the battery. I had to use a few washers to shim up the cables to make sure they pulled down flush. A longer bolt (M6) would make it easier though.

I bought the brass posts on the second go round and it's much easier to swap them out if needed.

Good luck!

I've read most of the posts here and it seems to boil down to - keep light battery up front or add cable weight and move stock battery to rear. I don't getthe argument that the weight savings isn't worth it...if you are relocating the weight of the battery to the rear and spreading the cable weight along the frame rail that has to be better than keeping the battery up front (way up front) and you get to delete the weight of the stock harness too which has to be worth a few pounds? I'd like to move my battery back but you guys have me thinking now...

The stock harness is pretty damn light, like almost nothing. I'd say MAYBE 1 pound or 2. The gauge of wire is a lot less than what you would need for a relocation.

For the money spent on a relocation and considering the weight you would add to the vehicle it makes far better sense to just buy the lightweight battery for the front.

I wish I would have sooner.

This is how i mounted my PC680 up front. I used to have a red top out back and droped over 50lb mounting the new battery in the front. I am extreemly happy with it, never had an problems with starting the car, etc.

Put the lightweight battery on one the end of a 10ft 2x4 and try to hold the 2x4 up by only holding the opposite end. Now, move the battery to the end where you are holding the 2x4. Which is easier? -Mark
