Default these ET streets work well on a 5 star camaro wheel?

part number - 672-3794, theyr the 4th ones down

http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...tegoryId=36685

it says fits an 8" wide wheel. was wondering if they would work well on a stock camaro 5 star 16" wheel. are they 8" or 8.5"? and what other tires doesn anyone have experience with that will fit on the stock 5 stars? im kinda sick of messing around with drag radials. they will be going on a bolt on LT1 6 speed. i have yet to pull less than a 2.4 60' on nitto DRs.

you bet they will, however i was unable to get a better 60' with them at 10 psi than i did with 275/40/17 nitto drs at 18psi....1.69 on nittos vs. 1.71 with et streets. this was with an automatic ls1 car.

since they are aired so low you will also lose some trap speed compared to a dr. i lost about 1mph.

Width wise they will work, but is there any reason why you elected to use the 27" versus the 26"? 26" would be closer to the stock height, unless you have (numerically) higher gears and need the extra diameter to cross the traps at you peak rpm.

hmmm, interesting news about the DR vs ET streets ssleeper.

and i chose the 27 inchers cause the specs say they will go on a 8" wheel and the 26" say 9", however im cant recall what width the wheels are, if anyone knows...

any other oppinions about these vs nittos or other DRs? thanks guys

10 lbs?!? Try a little more pressure, you might be rolling the sidewalls at that pressure. Hell I've gone 1.48 on a set of 28 x 11 et streets at 15 psi.
