28's are on the list for next year, as long as I can find another set of welded r/t bogarts for the rear, a set of 28x10.5 et drags are going on, and geting screwed to the rim. I'm sure that will help, but I have one more outing this year I'm gonna try to get these to work, hopefully enough to get a 10 second pass out of the car.
After seeing the video, I am gonna put the front shocks on 2 from 3, and put the rears up to 6 from a 3/4 split, and put the tires down to 10 psi cold on the first attempt, and see what that gets me. I pulled the spring rubbers out of the rear shocks to level teh car off a little better, hoping it will transfer weight better, lca'a are still pointint up at the nost a little (bmr relocation brackets, one hole down from stock) and this also added a little bit of pinion angle as well, so that should help too I think.
There's alot to be gained in the first 60 feet, once it hooks it moves out pretty good, just have to get it to hook up and she's gonna fly.

That cars making some power, no reason you won't get that 60' down in the low 1.4's.
That was the only time the car made a move like that, every other run it was strait.
But, over the winter, a wolfe dragbar and a spool will be going in the car, and while the rear is apart I'll upgrade to 5/8 studs too for a little added safety... no reason not to IMO.
