I have the Billingsly Manual Brake Kit and love it , your line lock should work fine.

Same here. That's the only one I found too. Works fine. You have to make up some lines and do some flaring anyway, so you should be able to tie it into your existing line lock no problem.

Thats what I would like to know also. How much better does the car stop with the manual brakes over the power brakes?

I have the kit. It takes a bit of getting used to. I don't do much street driving but it stops fine at the track. I have the Billingsly line lock as well. I sold the SLP one for the cost of the new one. Made the install a lot easier.

What do you mean by that statement? Is it strictly a pedal effort thing?

For the most part yes. It will take a lot more pedal effort and you will need to relearn stopping distance. Having said that, I can haul my car down from 127 on a short shutdown track without issue.

I guess it can't be that bad if older cars had full manual brakes....but then again they were probably drums not discs. I think I want this kit but I sure wish I could get a feel for how much more pressure is needed.

One mod you have to make, is to move the rod up by 1" on the brake arm. Besides correcting the alignment of the moving parts, it gives you more leverage on the piston which helps.

Weight savings is significant. I want to say like 20 - 25 lbs. You can get rid of the booster and the ABS stuff. It cleans up the engine bay quite a bit, I dud tue the ABS delete block instead of redoing the lines. I may change this if I go Strange brakes over the winter.

Pedal effort is quite a bit more with stock brakes. This kit was designed for drag brakes.

Thanks,
I already got rid of the ABS and used the ABS Deletions Block, next the booster.
