Default Can't keep the front end down on launch

Neve thought I would have this problem but here goes.

Car is about 3350 race weight. QA1s all around, Full BMR suspension, LCA in the middle hole, 300 lb springs in front, stock springs in rear, TH350 TB.

When I launch off the TB the front end comes up about 2-3 feet. I have tried to set all of the shocks stiff (10+) and have had up to 23 lbs of air in the 28" ET drags. Still comes up a lot.

It looks cool but is costing ET.

What can I do?

I saw a few of your launches, it's a nice problem to have. Basically all you can do right now is travel limiters because you already tried stiffening up the shocks and putting more air in the slicks.

Sure those front shocks are working, on '10' my car just spins the tires and doesnt move. I usually crank the shocks full stiff when I tow the car, look at the 1/8 mile vid in my sig - thats what happens when I forget to loosen them on the first pass

But travel limiters or maybe try the LCAs in the stock hole if your car sits up high.

Different ways. adding weight to the nose, pulling some timing to reduce the amt of TQ being produced, or change the exhaust so it produces less TQ, and getting the TC softened some might work.
The only thing I like about any of those options is the tuning and possibly the exhaust.
Have you tried lower RPMs on the TB?!

I just assume people are using a 2 step and have tried different RPM launches but you are right. You can play around with the two step RPM and keep the car down as well most of the time.

I got to assume that footbraking the car you do not have this problem, that is why I would try a lower RPM on the TB.
If you are bracket racing then you will learn quickly how much this affects the 60' and then know how to adjust the dial in, considering all of the other factors, LOL.

I agree on the travel limiters. Jugger had really good luck with them. They are decently priced too if you go with Madman's.

Steve you have a 2step? You should email Jugger and get his thoughts.

Dont sacrafice the launch with lower rpm or a softer hit just put the limiters on or try moving allitle weight from somplace else on the car to the front.

Yeah, I highly recommend everyone playing with their 2 step RPM's. I launched mine at 3800 when I was first learning my car then when I turned it up to 4600 my car actually lost some in the '60, it picked the wheels up higher but when I leave at 3800 it picks them up 1-2 feet and holds them there for ~45 feet. My best 60 at 4600 was a 1.309, best at 3800 is 1.259. The car loves coming up on the converter and I get less height and but more time in the air. Cheap and easy way but everyones car is different and you may have tried this already.
