Here's some pics of the new setup!
verses the 2.66 in the 6spd.
I was gonna tell you that you need to take off the sissy bars but I guess if you want the rear clip to stay on the car you should probably leave them on there
. 1.2Xs are FUN. Looks like ls1joe and me are the last EFI M6 guys here. (I can only judge by LS1Tech races though)

Plus it might actually idle now
The jerico switch is because I was just tired of trying to get a clutch to work and I wanted a lower first gear.
I don't have any other pics yet hopefully soon
any updates on the setup? how much did you end up saving by going to the jerico? you said you like the stock look and you seem pretty heavy...does the car get driven on the street at all and what does the interior look like? you still have stock interior? just curious...
im really not trying to be a dick, just REALLY wondering on wieght savings from switching to the jerico and what your interior is like...

As far as interior it will be allstock except no console so it will look just like this with no console when I get it done

The car does get driven to work on occasion and to cruise nights.
The car will still be heavy I'll loose the console ,and save maybe 30 pds from the Jerico, prolly weigh in at 3410 or so.

the car is about 13:1 compression with 509 CI N/A
now on 114 it runs 6.21-6.22 in good weather... that was the only changes....
however the 60ft dropped from 1.35-1.36--> 1.39-1.40
in my past experience a car with around 10.5CR will pick up more with alcohol than a car that already has a 12:1+ CR...
that tranny will help probably because of rotating mass.... and steeper first gear.... i think youll pick up .15 if you had your EFI dialed in... if you werent to sure about your tune up you can pick up .25 or more.... if you more familiar with the Carb setups im sure youll pick up more just becaues youll be able to do some "track" tunning.
i say she'll end up in the 6.1x range...
i saw you car at bowling green at the ls1tech NvsS and its gorgeous...
good luck!

Same intake gasket (my only fear was the vacuum pump pulling too hard and creating a leak) all year and after some initial problems with milking we started running rotella and vacuuming the car out for 15 minutes with a shop vac and it was fine... Put on 45 passes with no oil change. For this year it'll have a nitrous solenoid to shoot regular gas in for startup so I don't have to open the hood and dump gas in it. Mine actually struggled with consistency but the carb I have on it was set up fat, I had 196's in it and it should've been well below that.
I'm all for alcohol, it's a bitch to figure out but once you do the added ET (My best ET with me in it would've been a good 6.15 and with alcohol I ran a 5.90), cheaper prices (including how much extra is used) and the lack of heat... To be honest it almost runs too cold in the late fall, I'd do my burnout then turn on the water pump, make my pass then turn it back off when I crossed the line.
My only complaint is smelling like the additive every night and not being able to see when I cross the line

Shootin for some low low 9's N/A we'll see
