Default racing seats?

alright i am trying to lose some weight and would like to change out the seats for when i add my 5 point harness. i want to get my car down to 34XX race weight.

ok now for the problems, i cant fit into any of the light weight racing seats. i'm 6'3" 310lbs i know i know my fat *** needs to lose weight before i can get my car down that low. **** for the car to lose weight all i have to do is change a few things and cut whats not needed. i wish i could do the same with me. anyways

so i guess i have to get one of those ricer seats. i need to get the seat as low as possible also how far back can i recline the seat with a 6 point cage? well any ideas on a seat choice?

I know the aluminum Kirkey seats are pretty narrow. You could try those summit/JAZ plastic seats. The base is a bit wider than the kirkeys. They are very lightweight (12.5lbs). Horrible in the bling bling category but who cares. I have a set in my car and you can get adjustable brackets if you need to slide them back farther. -Mark

The seat positioning doesnt have much to do with the cage, more the other way around. You mock the cage up with your seat installed in the position you'll be driving in.

kirkey has some different sizes you can get, check on summit's website for them.

i have seen some pretty big fellas in dirt cars and they have seats to fit them. trust me they are out there.

im running into the same problem, im 6'5" 305, i sat in a corbeau forza last night with a 17" width and it was ok. if i could find a krikey in a 18.5" it would be perfect!
