#1 qualifier as of right now.... Allan Johnson in a damn DODGE....

JL and GA are 2 & 3 with Connally (still DRCE2) at #4 and Koretsky (can't believe he's still racing) at #5 but not sure what he's running. KJ is #7 but good ole LSx Warren is at 14 and dropping like a rock.

.....

Greg Anderson, Number one Qualifier.... Jason Line, Number 3.

AJ has had a strong car at the tail end of last year. Edwards, Yates, AJ, will be STRONG runners this year for sure. Dick Maskin and their power plants should be back up and running strong this year too.

Results from first round in Pomona today

Looks like Warren was asleep, check out his reaction time....

(W) Jason Line (Summit Racing Equipment GTO) 0.059 6.763 206.89
(L) Warren Johnson (GM Performance Parts GTO) 0.135 6.715 206.35

WJ is waaay late off the line and gives it away to Line. Jason Line's incremental margins: 60ft(0.072), 330 ft(0.027), 660ft(0.023), 1,000ft(0.025). MOV: 0.0282 seconds (approximately 9 feet).

Greg is showing his stuff in the first round.....

(W) Greg Anderson (Summit Racing Equipment GTO) 0.012 6.641 207.98
(L) Richie Stevens (Mopar/Valspar Stratus) 0.065 6.725 205.60

Anderson just buries Stevens with RT, ET, and MPH. He ensures lane choice over Edwards in round two.

Anderson averaged a .020 light over the WHOLE weekend. See him cut that nasty .004

Congrats again to the Summitt team!

Against Connelly no less. I like the kid, but WOW! Greg is back ... for the moment. I hope he keeps it up.

Big power and killer reaction times are a hard combination to beat. That was an old car he restored and brought back to life too !

I believe it was Mike Edwards car from like 2 years ago. Greg said it felt good to him while testing it a while back and he has stuck with it.
