Damn are those 1/2" studs on the mains? My 408 is built alot like yours but damn. Triple springs, titanium/inconel valves, aluminum rods. Solid roller, dry sump? What size cam? That's going to be a really nice set up.

BTW, my LCA's have nuts welded on both ends of the tubes. It was the only way we could keep them tight. Every time time we lauched with alot of power it would break the fronts loose. I actually thought about drilling them for safety wire to keep them from backing off.

Thanks for the kind words guys!

My builder does not trust me with all the specs

I was up at the chassis shop today... about another 10 days left before it goes to the body shop... It's 8 weeks until my 1st race and I am feeling confident the car will be ready... wether on not I will be ready to drive it is another question

I think that might be the first time I've ever seen a sway bar mounted like that in a 4th gen. Interesting set up to say the least, curous to see how well it works. keep posting as the progress moves forward.

We actually make a sway bar kit (single and double) that mount a sway bar above the rearend. Intended for strip only cars. Or at least cars that don't have stock fuel tank.

Also, The car looks good. What class are you building too?

Thanks! I am building it for local stock style suspension class called true street... I must run a limited size DOT tire and can have a single power adder up to an 80MM inlet turbo... here are complete class details...
http://www.torontomotorsportspark.co...ruestreet.html

I also plan on running in some other drag radial races... if things go well maybe even go down to Orlando for the World Street Nationals in the Fall.

I had a Wolfe rear drag sway bar up until now and was very happy with it, I sold it along with my 12 bolt... my current setup is basically being built from the ground up with "1 of" rear end, torque arm, LCA along with rear wishbone that my chassis guy is working to put together...

That's going to be a really nice set up. The guy that posted just above you is Dan from Wolfe Racecraft, you should see their car. They run in the Outlaw Limited Street class of our local 10.5 racing league. I ran my T/A in the true street class several times. All of my suspension is Wolfe stuff, they make really good stuff and yours looks nice too. Here's our website, have a look. http://www.texastrueten5.com

This is mine at one of last years races.

This is my current project on the car.

Thanks!

With the car collection in your signature, it does not look like you are on welfare either

My wallet is no longer fat
