I saw in the other thread they were single digit or close in weight. For something so large that's crazy!

The elbow and throttle body showed up... pretty much the last pieces of the puzzle... the motor was dropped in the car yesterday and the exhaust fabing got started today... one of the sides is already complete... the turbo gets mounted tommorow... I am optomistic that the car will be ready for the end of the month... it's a pretty serious project

Thanks... shooting to make it out to a race at the end of the month... so another 3.5 weeks...

I expect it to take some time to get the car and my driving skills dialed in

what are you doing to block off all the holes from the old hvac system? There are a bunch right up by the windshield wiper area that are not done and your paint was already put on?

After several weeks of non stop thrashing we achieved our goal of making it to the track on the weekend! Friday ended up being a non stop all nighter with a couple of gremlins that did not get sorted out till the sun came up! I can not say enough good things about the Redline crew Wade, Eric, Jeremy and Pete as without thier dedication and hard work there was no way the car would have been completed!!! I don't think a single piece on the car is a 'bolt-on' and just about everything has been custom fabricated...

The car was fired up for the 1st time around noon... and on the dyno shortly after. The 1st pull on the dyno netted 1070rwhp... this was with 10-15lbs less boost than we plan on running at the track and at about 2000RPM shy of where we expect the peak power to be! Instead of running a CO2 system to control the stages of boost, we tried running electronic valves controlled by the Big Stuff 3... this method would not hold boost so the dyno numbers are based on the running off the wastegate. By late Saturday afternoon we made it to the track. Even though we where a couple hundred HP off of our target for the car, prelimary numbers are encouraging and we where anxious to get some shakedown runs in and start dialing in the car.

Unfortunately my power glide did not want to cooperate... fortunately my ice box worked well as a beer cooler that was able to handle an entire 24

I'll get the glide refreshed as well as have a CO2 system installed so that we can run the right amount of boost in multiple stages and will hit the track again very soon... Stay Tuned!

Here's a little burnout teaser video... when the car goes into boost it sounds mental!

The tranny was done by our best local tranny guy... it was not his fault... there must have been something defective in there... it was killed in the burnout box...
