OZITE Finaly Installed
I really hate the way my interior looks

David
Got it from this website; http://www.yourautotrim.com/80wideozite.html
It is 13.95 per linear yard which is 80" wide. 3 to 4 yards should cover an entire f-body depending on how **** you are to adhere to every bend in the floor pan.
Yes it is a flat rolled carpet that you have to 'mold' and cut to shape yourself. Like I said before, just take your time, use a heat gun or a hair drier [i used a hair dryer] and it will come out well.

And are you sure that you're stock carpeting is still going to fit over that, or at least fit over it with still being able to install the panels and seats back in as well?
Looks good though bro, nice work.

the stock carpet will definitely fit. The Ozite is thin as hell and I will take the 1/2" thick padding off from under the factory carpet. It will fit
Yup I used the black. Now that I think about it, I have a dark dark gray carpet, I don't think F-bodies ever came strait black carpet. But I got the black Ozite.
I hope that helps (sory alex for hi-jacking the thread a bit)

go to the link above with the carpet, you can see every color that they have available.
Usualy I want things done yesterday, but when it comes to the car, I would rather take my time and do it right the first time. Money is tight, so the Ozite was a great way to go, it took a wie because I was only able to work on it a few hours a weekend here and there.

Hm.. lets see..
The front passenger side took about 2hr, drivers side maybe 2.5hr, middle took maybe 1hr, rear seats and back deck about 2hr.
With a fudge factor I would say 8-9 hours of total labor but it took a few weeks working 1 or 2 hours on the weekends.
I used 3M Spray Adhesive 12.99 a can in Home Depot.

Alex, Good post and Very Nice work. I can tell you really took your time.
It really pays to do things right.
Thanks for sharing with the rest of us.
So how much would you charge to do my car?
