I didn't want to go nuts gluing it down, in case I ever had to take it back out. It's solid up where my feet are, which was my largest concern.

I hear ya. I could always pull mine out but there will be A LOT of clean up involved lol. More then a few cans of Brakleen

exactly what I didn't want to deal with later.

Either way, it's down good where it need to be around my feet, passenger's part is down pretty good too, I think it will be fine.

man that looks so nice, im going to need to put a 6 point in my car and want to get rid of the backseat but hate all of the holes in the stock carpet and bullshit, i should look into this but i dont want it coming out looking like horse ****.

looks so clean and perfect

everytime i look at this thread it makes me want to do it more and more, i wonder if my skills are up to the task, lol.

does this stuff stretch really easily or do you have to pull the hell out of it, i never did something like this before and i dont want to struggle and get pissed off and have it come out like ****, lol. just trying to learn as much as i can.

maybe i need to stop being such a *****

It does not stretch 'easy' per say. You have to use some king of heat source be it a hair dryer or heat gun and then you can mold it and shape it as you wish. I wil conform even without heat, just simply takes longer. Like I have said before all it takes is time so b pacient with it. Work it onto the contours of the floor and take your time. It will come out well. The jobs you see look like crap is because people rushed it and got fed up with the ammount of work it takes to make it look nice.

thats what i was thinking, but i figured its only 2 bucks,plus i have a friend that wants to do the same thing so i can let him choose his color too.

thanks a lot for the help guys, and the influence to eventaully tackle this.

when the roll bar goes in the back seat coming out, and it looks so gorgeous when its nice and clean looking without the holes and **** back there.
