Default Vehicle weight

Were does everyone go to find their cars weight? Looking to find out for certain and not sure were to go. Need an exact weight! Or at least really close.

Most tracks, at least in this area, have certified scales for weighing cars for competition...

Your best bet is to go to your local track and ask if they have a scale, second option is going to a truckstop and using the scales for the big rigs...

I've looked for a scale at the track here and haven't seen one. I will try a truck scale then. I wasn't sure if that was something that would work. Thought there might have to be a certain amount of weight for the scale to register anything.

Thanks!

gld does have a scale, but most of the time it's broken.

the truck scales are the best bet. When I was in waukesha, i'd just go to the golden guernsey(sp?) milk place and just hop up on there scales.

been trying to find a place now that I'm in muskego

Weighed mine at a BIG Love's Truck stop. Weighed 3380.
There are three sections to the scale so make sure you get your entire car on the first scale.

I went to a local landfill, they weighed my car for free as it was for personal use only. They could have charged me though if they wanted too. 6$
Car weighted 3250 with 1/4 tank without driver. I did take a few things out

I contacted Ray Drew at GLD about it and never got an answer. I figured it was something like that as if they have one it's been broken everytime I've been there.
