Default 8.0 In The 1/8th With Nitrous?

Last friday I ran a best of 8.0 in the 1/8th thats with a 2.1 60 ft.
heres the bummer I was on ET streets, and sprayed a 100 shot.
my mods are 2000 T/A full weight, A4, stock stall/gear,flowmaster catback,lid/filter,maf, 100 shot dry,et streets 10.5.
Shouldn't I get like a 1.8 60 ft even with a stock converter and run a least a high 7 with the gas??
Any opinions, what I should launch at, tire pressure,

What was the mph? On the stock converter if you don't bring the nitrous in real early your 60ft. times will still be poor. Don't give up yet, it will get faster.

What was your 330ft?

My 00 formula 3.23 (lid & magnaflow muffler) stock converter was no better than 1.95 60ft on 2nd hand dr's. I always wondered how much nitrous would help. My best was around 8.55 @84.9 (1/8).

Are you going to try the 150 shot?
Is it a wet kit or dry?

buy my converter https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts-sale/672936-4l60e-w-transgo-midwest-3800-a.html and turn that 8.0 into 7.5s and a little more juice 7.0s

It seems pretty slow to me for your car. What was the DA that day?
Are you sure you have the right jets?
Is the track prepped?
Are you hooking?

I was running about 8.4-5 NA with simular mods as you exept I had the flowmaster cut off, no muffler just cats and with a 100 wet shot I was around 7.6 but that was with bfg and I couldn't hook off the line and had to wait to spray till about 40ft out.

going into the other lane is probley your problem. You can't draft LOL
it sounds like you were not hooking like you should be.
Lower your shot and work your way up.
Start out with a 50 shot.
If you can't keep it strait with that you need to fix that problem first then go from there.

You really should be hooking with ET streets.
What pressure did you run in them?

hey 98tadriver my mph was the same as yours 88 mph but I did a 2.1 compared to your 1.8 that's 3 tenths slower which is equalivant to 6 tenths i the final et. So I guess the 100 shot, with me even letting off did do a little something.

oh man heres what happened with the et streets the had offset pressure one had 16 psi the other 12psi, plus I couldn't get them hot even in the water box so basically they were a little wet with rocks/dirt. I need a line lock really sticky tire for basically stcok car.

yeah you need to work on your burnout and a line lock helps a lot on any car where you have to do a burnout.

I have ran mine around 18psi since I have been using ET Streets.

keep them both the same psi
Your will get better with your burout with time. I've been there before. You will get used to it.
