Driveshaft safety loop???

Loops are for anything 12.99 or under or using slicks regardless of ET. They should be either 1/4-inch thick and 2-inches wide (aluminum or steel) or 7/8-inch x 0.065-inch welded steel tubing (steel only).

I got tossed for not having one back in 1999 at HRP,
racing my Camaro at one of the Import/Domestic Drag Wars,
After I made 2 passes and beat some guys,
they came and checked my car for a variety of things,
I got booted for no driveshaft safety loop, and no park neutral safety switch.
I think it was a conspiracy though, since I was an old 79 Camaro with a big hole in my hood w/ air cleaner sticking out and a big windshield sticker that said " I EAT IMPORTS" at a 95% import event. Was running 12.50's on ET STREETS.
