Once you know some of the stuff ATVracr asked you can use the calculator in my sig to determing optimal gear ratio for your estimated 1/4 MPH and Trap RPM...

There are instruction on the right to help you out...

If you're keeping it on motor, 4400-4600 stall, 4.10 gear and a 28" tire, or 3.73 gear and a 26" tire. I personally run a 4500 stall & 3.73 gear on a 26" tire. Full suspension, full boltons.

The car weighed 3275 with me in it (I weigh 160). Those times were on a 26" MT drag radial and I had a 4600 converter. Here is a link to my FQuick page with all of the mods: http://www.fquick.com/garages/Chevro...Z28/2000/1965/

Yeah, the Convo Pros are light enough. That is what I have for my 99 Z28. Again, with a 26" MT drag radial & 3.73 gears.
