has anyone relocated there computer?

I want to move my computer inside the car. I figure i can run the wires insde the car next to my hvac plate and mount it somewhere inside. Who has done this? And do i actually have enough wire to do it? I know its nothing major just cosmetics, but it would look a lot better under the hood with no big computer under there. I know ill get something figured out when i do it but for the time being i figure id post something in case theres something i need to do. Any help?

might be enough wire...try it and see...i think you can but your going to have to mount it really close to that grommet inside the car...prolly only work if the heater box is gone..

Me wonder too.

Then, all I need to get rid of to have an awesome engine bay is to remove AC, battery, power brakes, power streering, MAF, and re-locate coils.

Did it on my car a few years back with no issues. Lots of wiring, so be prepared!

thats what i figured. And i have no heat or blower motor or anything under the dash so i got lots of room to play with.

LS1 cars have "plenty" wire from the engine to the pcm.

My plan is to make a hole for them where the HVAC bolt behind the engine was and just extend the other harness that goes on passenger fender....

I will see if "plenty" is plenty enough to do it that way...

I am mounting the PCM under the dash on my Chevelle swap. If you remove most of the wiring looms and electrical tape it can be rearranged to get enough length to fit.
