i ran mine at 17.5 cold, warm up to around 19 PSI. i did a decent burnout on my first pass, and just cleaned them up after that, cut low 1.4's and a few 1.3's

Try a 5-7 second hard burnout first and adjust from there.

The amount of PSI will often depend on your suspension setup, and definatley depend on the power you are putting down. You dont want too little pressure. You want to run as much pressure as you can without spinning down the track. The more pressure you have the more MPH you will have.

20 psi is what i have found that works. i have run both the 325 and the 275 m/t radials. i have found a big long slick type burnout makes them greasy

Need some gear man, I cut a 1.86 on street tires in my T/A. 100% stock suspension, 3580 pounds.

But usualluy, I would start around 20-22 and then go UP from there, till your 60' starts to suffer, then back off 2 psi. Thats usually the best way I've found.

Sounds like exactly what I would reccomend. I would burnout for 7-9 seconds just to make sure they are good and sticky before I would pull up to the line. My own technique is to try and jump on it really quick in the distance between the starting line and the burnout pit. This should give you a decent feel as to exactly how sticky they are so you can plan your launch. Sounds like you have an excellent tire/suspension combo. You should do well.

i guess ill play devils advocate. I run mine at 13-15psi, and i do a long 2-3rd gear burn out. I also run on a track thats usually not very well prepped. Works great for me, leaving on the foot brake under vacuum 60' 1.69 on stock suspension and a crap tranny

Same here but we had a 99 camaro with completely stock suspension. Stock TA,PHB, adjustable LCAs for the 325 drag radials. I run the tires at 15 cold on a 10in wheel. I always do a 1-2-3 burnout. MPH is what gets the heat in the tires.

Best 60ft 1.29 but averaged 1.31s all the time. It is all about the combo...This was on a 325/50/15 MT drag radial.

run them at 13.5-14.5 depending on track and do a pretty decent burnout. so far best of 1.28 leaving softly.

Denny's old ride still lives on!

I run my 275/60/15 at 18 psi, 2-3 second burnout in 2nd and roll to the line. Best of 1.52 60 foot off the footbrake at 1800 rpm.
