Use a relay. Split the 12v out from your transbrake switch, one goes to your t-brake the other to a relay that will connect gray and white wire together when supplied with the 12v. Here is a quick drawing, double check the numbers on the relay I am not 100% sure on them.

well I just looked at the box my relay came in:
86=Ground
85=12v Switched source
30=Input
87=Output

When 12v is applied to 85 it should complete the circuit between 30 and 87.

you shouldn't get 12v to 87. Is the relay clicking when you have it grounded and supply 12v to to 85? Use a continuity(sp.) tester when 12v is supplied to 85, 87 and 30 should show continuity, then when 12v is removed it should break the circuit.

The 2 step draws power from the coil pack wiring I believe all you are doing is completing the circuit by grounding the 2 step, I changed the diagram above and added the instructions for the 2 step.

Thats how mine is wired up, the grey wire can either be connected to a ground, white wire, or 30 on the relay its not important, just as long as it gets grounded when the relay is active. The activation wire is the white wire. when it gets grounded the step is armed.
