full interior, stock gauge cluster no lexan no wheelie bars. its all about the hustle im glad you have a street racer driving, maybe have some street racers do the negotiating you can go in there with a bolt on ls1 and walk away with an 8 sec turbo mustang, if you know how to play the game.

that would make for a VERY short show. pinks is a glorified TV version of grudge/street racing, and anyone who has ever done that type of racing knows the fastest car doesnt always win.

Good point, it does have to have some length to the show, so hustling is required. And yes the fastest car doesnt always win, drivers play a huge part too. I just think it would be cool to see the 2 go heads up.

And since I wouldn't be able to make it out there, I'd love to donate my support instead.

I'm willing to donate but I'm 99% sure I'll be their at the event. I was hoping it would be in the Chicago area but KS isn't to far. Plus if we can get a big group of LS1's to do a power tour like cruise down there that would be enough reason to go by itself.

Which track? Wichita, Topeka, or KC? I'm guessing Topeka, as I know Pinks has been there before.

And KS in August, you can plan on mid to high humidity depending on which part of the state you're in. Wichita will be in the 50-70% range while KC or Topeka will be in the 60-90% range.

I'm running a set of Convo Pros. Weight is close to nothing. Good wheels man! This whole thing is great for the sight and Pinks is a HUGE forum for the GO FAST demons in all of us! I love the show and this site is a great resource for all of us wanna be's who like to do it our self. I think the donation thing is a good idea from the standpoint of "WE JUST WANT TO BE INVOLVED"!! I for one would love to point at the TV set and say "I had a part in that car"! For whats its worth.

I love this forum, so I hope I don't get introuble for stating this.

JUST AN OPINION

I aggree, but I'm kinda lost why you don't want to take donations. Yes it would be great for people to show up, but it would also be nice to have member support. What would it be like for pinks to say that this many (xxxx) people, mostly strangers, teamed up to build this car. It seems like many, many, many people want to have a hand in helping and feeling like a part of the project wether it's 5 to 50 bucks.

Yes, the forum is here with a BIG help from the sponsors, but it's also here because of the people that use the forum. And even though it wasn't asked for, there my opinion.

DONATATION FOR THE WIN!

I think it is so funny that people are actually demanding to donate. Glad to see the support, but even after he said don't worry about it these guys are demanding it! That is love for the hobby.

It is pretty awesome! If anyone can't seem to stop themselves from donating my email address is jason11ws6@sbcglobal.net. I would be happy to take money off your hands via paypal. It would still be going into an LS1...just not on pinks.
On the other hand I really want to start a power tour there. When the details come out a little further I am going to try and organize one from Chicago area. I'll post it in the Midwest section!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would say do a setup close to KP's, im pretty sure you could squeeze out a 8.9X out of it and be consistant as hell.

Theres no question that the hustle plays a key role in street racing but when you know you have a machine that can walk over everything else with ease makes playing the hustle that much easier and leaves you room to work with.
