Secondly, making the power is only half the problem. The other half is making a clean/consistent pass repetitively. I'd say the hardest part of these races is the hot lapping ole' Rich is so good at forcing these guys to pull off....

John-What is the "et range" that he has given you guys to build a car for? It seems like a lot of times they tell the shop/guy to have a car that is a 10.50 car, 9.50 car, etc...

It's stipulated in our agreement that we will be bringing an LSx powered car, and they are bringing a mod motor car.

mod motor, that could mean anything from a 4.6 2 valve, to a 32 valve terminator motor......but that also means anywhere from an LS1 to an LS7 for us.......

 

Like Nine Ball said the other day to me, they could just use an engine out of a Navigator it's up to them. I owned five Mustangs in the past so they are not foreign to me.

 

I'm not 100% because work owns me, but as it comes closer I'll let you know for sure, I'm going to try to get a small group of cars driving out. I was originally thinking about flying out, but theres no fun in being out there and not having a car...
