I will say one thing, it would be easier to take a built car and tweak the combo, than build a car from scratch as we have done. We've had some delays just due to missing 2-3 parts, and it can cost a lot of time. But I will say that 95% of the parts being used in our build are brand new, only the seat is used.

Some carbed 87GT out of Kentucky. From the sounds of things it will have a lot of motor. I told Nate @ Pinks that my only big concern was not running against some gutted out ten year old racecar that weighs 2600 lbs with driver... The show must go on, so we will hopefully prevail by having a well-built car with good ol' LSX parts.
Thanks again to Speed Inc. (www.LS1Speed.com) for majorly busting *** for the last week for us. We had several parts delays that forced me to buy backup parts, but the Speed Inc. guys bent over backwards for us.

if you're gonna have to race an 87 gt.... the first thing I thought of was every damn 87 gt I've seen at the track in the last 5 years, exactly what you said LOL, a 2600 lb gutted car with alot of motor. The cars are so cheap to build it's not even funny, and if they're running an all motor setup, then it's gonna be a 408+ ci sbc which in that light of a car is gonna be a 9 second capable car.
You're gonna have your hands full now I suspect.... better put a few kits on that thing and have a last resort rollbar pressurized with nitrous inside it for a hidden system LOL.
