John, where are you guys staying down there? My carclub will be down Thursday to prep for our taping on Friday. We are at the Red Roof near the track. We will have to catch up for some drinks in the evenings and enjoy the local 'scenery'.

actually back in the late 90's all the pro stock guys were running nitrous, there was no rule against it but it was supposed to be a "given" that they weren't... the mopar guys actually got caught because someone had a bottle in the dry sump tank, not the mopar guys but someone else whi I don't know, and it exploded in the pits, caused a ton of commotion, and that's how everyone got caught/stopped doing it.
If you look back at the times for races, it's funny because right about when that happened the NHRA changed some rule, and it knocked about a tenth off all the prostock cars....... wouldn't have anything to do with the NHRA telliing everyone to lose the nitrous stuff though

-We are staying at a Hampton Inn, I have to look up the address later. I am holding 7 rooms. 
-Car was 3020 with gas, without driver. Since then we went to drag wheels, slicks in back, roll cage, one drag seat, removed stock front cloth seats, and added another 40 lbs of equipment. Our driver is 145 lbs. So I think we were 3165 before, and now might be 3100 or so, maybe a bit more.

me? noooooo. In fact I give you props for including everything you need in a great movie. A camaro, racing around on the street, and a fat guys ***. It's just like transformers, only.... different.
Can't wait to see it make some passes. When are you going to let everyone in on the secret that you lettered up a manual car just like the real pinks car, so nobody knows until race day the real car is an automatic?
