need help with proportion valve

Default need help with proportion valve

i figured i would ask here cause most of yall guys have prob already done this. im deleting the abs control box and want to put a proportion valve in its place. if anyone has done this can you give me a link to which one you used and/or pics of it in the car so i can see how to route my brake lines. thanks.

Check out SJM in the sponsor list. They have a kit for the ABS delete.

Madman,
Is it not recommended to use the stock master cylinder with a proportioning valve? This is the first I heard this.

seriously i thought i would need a proportioning valve for brakes like tim h has on his car.

I ran the Wilwood valve with a Hurst Line Lock from SJM & the stock master cylinder and never had a problem.

ive always used the wilwood one... it actually weighs less then the length of steel line it replaces.. lol.

the rear master cyl port controls the front brakes.. so it goes from the master cyl, to the line lock, then to a T with one line to each brake.


the front master cyl port controls the rear brakes.... so it goes from the master cyl, to the prop valve, then back to the rear brakes...

just make sure that under a panic stop, the fronts lock before the rears.. lol...
