How do front springs affect 60'?
I am looking into a front shock/spring combo. I like to drag the car now, but eventually would like to throw some nice road wheels/tires on the car. So I am thinking of a heavier spring. Would going with a heavier spring negatively affect 60's? If so how? After looking around for shocks, I am pretty set on QA1-Rs or Strange S5269s. Both are stiff compression and adjustable rebound. Any reason I should look elsewhere? No money for doubles right now. Aslo should note the car is 3600+ with me in it.
Anyone know if the QA1 springs fit Strange shocks?

Lighter front springs are generally recommended for drag racing because they compress more when the car is at rest and therefore the car will lift more in response to launch forces. More lift leads to better weight-transfer rearward which leads to better traction and better acceleration.
