best one on the net I seen, can set the rollout and also the delay box on a sportsman tree plus you let go of the button like trans brake.

how do you know your roll out? delay box? i just drop the **** out of the clutch

i have noticed at the track i have to drop the hammer right after the 3rd amber goes OFF to cut a good light (without redlighting). the clutch is much more responsive then the converter

i don't know any of it...i actually have never drag raced my car...yet. but i just got dog lucky the very first time...i tried screen saving...but i don't know how...then i messed it up and it started it over.

on another note, what's the best way to actually launch these cars (camaro's) bc when i tried it the first few times just around in the city and such and on back roads i normally roast my tires to hell. i had a friend up in oklahoma show me a better way of launching my car by just slippin the clutch out..of course that's not good at all (which he told me), but he had minimal tire spin when taking off. he drag races a few ppl's cars and own's a 95 Vr4. it's bad as hell!

If my car 60s in the 1.50 range off the foot brake & runs a 10.70 what should I set the roll out to for max realism ?

I don't think the ambers come on at the same time every time. Which totally screws up my "motions".

Around .350-.500 would probably be a start, closer to .500. Hard to figure exactly without a delay box on your car or you are very consistant on a pro tree.

No they dont, thats how a real pro tree works. If they came on exactly the same time every time then it would be easy to set a timer and let it go when both cars staged

Agreed, holding a mouse button is only going to get you so far.
More time in the seat staring at pretty yellow lights and moving your feet is the key.
Grudge and Test and Tune nights are a great excuse to go practice,
Don't worry about the guy in the other lane, you're there to race the clock.

You will find some of the best racers around in their trailer between rounds with their thumb on a mouse or practice tree button. Can never get enough practice, it costs me 3-500.00 to take my car out and make a few passes not to mention wear and tear, I still use a practice tree a lot since its pretty much free.

Matter of fact using a practice tree with your kids screaming, TV blasting and wife trying to talk to you is the best practice you can get for not being distracted on the starting line

That's a good point and one I can definatley relate to.
It's a good alternative instead of drinking!
