perfect reaction time
some tracks perfect is .000 and a red light makes it -.xxx a negitive number.
some tracks perfect is .500 and .499 and lower is red.
my home track was .500 but they recently updated the system and now use .000 system. I still compare to the .500 lights. for example if I get a .020 light I say I had a .520 light when talking to others that have been racing there for I while.

So old system .500 = new system .000
The .500 is a combination of the time it takes the driver to react DRT and the car to react VRT. They didn't change that. If you had to go .500 faster than before then your VRT would have to be .000 and your DRT would have to be .000 in order to get a perfect light
now switching from old bulbs to new LED ones was a differnt story. People were redding alot at first but it only took a few weeks to get everyone used to them. Basically everyone in footbrake just had to slow there VRT down by lowering Launch RPM or other things that slow down VRT

back when i was 16 in my first year of racing i pulled a perfect light (when it was .500) at high school national, and i got a perfect light when it became .000
now it have to try for 4 zeros for that perfect slip, funny thing is both my perfect lights were in my first year racing when i was 16, lol.
