I have been taking my 98 Formula to the drag strip a few times every summer and it seems to me that my sixy foot times are not all that good.
I purchased some Nitto 555R drag radials and just installed a set of 3.90 gears thinking that this would help alot. Well my best sixty foot times so far are only 1.9. I know thats not too bad but I think it could be better.
My Formula is pushing about 400hp at the crank and my best run as of yet is a 12.91 at 109mph. I have an A4 so not much I can do at launch. I usually try to launch at around 1,500-2,000 rpms anything more I start turning my tires at the line.
Even before the gears and the drag's I was pulling 2.0-2.1 sixty footers that is why I'm confused that these mods havent helped much.
I was hoping some of you A4 guys out there could give me some tips on possibly getting my sixy foot times a little lower?? And no I dont usually spin at launch maybe just a little but not much.
Thanks

Stall (Vig 3200 or ss3600 yank)
Suspension: Lower control arms, relocation bracket, remove front sway bar and get some sticky tires (like ET street or ET drag stiffwall)
