Rumor has it that car had the wrong thread lug nuts and just cross threaded and stopped before they tightened against the wheel. Got to suck to take out all four at once..

I think those cars use bolts that thread into the hubs instead of studs/nuts. If he buggered up the threads then they would pull out pretty easy I guess. I'm not sure if thats how the RX7s are though.

Didnt notice the parking brake but that is pretty funny.

12mm nuts will thread onto a 1/2-20 stud and not cross-thread, BUT the pitch is wrong. They wont grab the threads enough... and stuff like that happens. He was sold the wrong lug nuts. He was able to thread the correct ones on there after the incident and move the car.
