K member or cam cant decide

Default K member or cam cant decide

im having trouble deciding between a tubular k member or doin a cam....probably ms30r4.....im dropping my kmember to do rodbolts and maybe freshen up bearings...
should i do the kmember now or the cam....
im also doin a converter as well....
just need a few opinions....

I would do cam/valvetrain.
If your doing a converter a cam would work good with that.
IMO you will see minimal gain with a K Member and a big gain with cam/tune.
Unless your car is already really light then the wieght saving from a K Member will not help much. Besides unless you have done a lot of wieght reduction then there are probley other ways to save more weight for the same price as a Kmember.

Well I have did just about every weight reduction mod I can think of besides a light weight hood wheels and Kmember. A Kmember or wheels is next on my list

Here are a few:
Of course all the free weight reductions but that depends on how extreme you want to go. you can check the sticky for that.
remove extra wires
Lightweight battery
Wheels/tires
headers
short exhaust
lightweight seats
torque converter
ABS delete

A kmember is going to save you what 15-30 lbs depending on style/strength/material used and cost 400-700
A dry cell light weight battery will save you over 20lbs.
