I'll have the quickest 13 second car not there

Seriously though guys and gals, the NMCA True Street rocks! No BS, drive the sucker and make 3 back-to-back laps. Winners have ranged from high 8s all the way to mid 11s depending on the stop and competition (and who can keep their car together).

Bring it out and show everyone your quick LSx cars!

Derek

What is a good shot at winning this? Weve taken three cars to the pump gas drags that all have been 9.70 to 9.10 and made their drive no problem... You can run any gas correct?

If I make it down for the race... this class will definately be one I will run in. May not have the fastest car, but I know it will stay together for the duration, which is 1/2 the battle

I'm going to try and make it...as a spectator since my car wont be done yet.

The write ups in FSC(Fastest Street Car) have really been promoting LSX cars. Can't wait to make it to the LSX shootout!

Can you add fuel once you get back from the 30 miles? I see a mid to low 9 second car winning this.

Yep. According to the rules, when you come back from the cruise you go straight to a holding area. You can add fuel and "ice" to the intercooler (as long as it is inside the car/trunk and NOT under the hood). You can also check/change tire pressure. About the only thing you can't do is raise the hood or actually change tires.

Once the 3 rounds start you are not permitted to touch anything - tires, fuel, intercooler. The only thing you can do is re-pack your chute If you have any type of problem, you are DONE.

We had our shop Mustang in the FWC in Indy this spring. 5 out of the 50 didn't make the cruise. 3-4 more didn't make the required 3 runs. Seen some mid-8 second runs. The FWC had a little different format, but basically the same.

David
