Question Carb Style intake guys??

What do you do with map and IAT sensor? im going with an acufab 4 brl t-body right on top, no aircleaner.
what to do with them?

can i put the map into the hole in the t-body

if you have the edelbrock on it should have come with brass fitting for the intake and a part to hold the map sensor, you just add a hose you can see it in the pic if you look hard


now for the iat sensor I drilled a hole in the cowl and put it though and found a rubber peice that fits tight to hold it in place. I also redid all the wires. In the pic you can see the hole I used in the cowl it sits right behind the hood

the accufab cam with the correct gm tps sensor

now my wilson 105mm has a ford does anyone know how to wire it?

good info thanks. what about the fitting on the back of the accufab, can i put a hose on that for the map?

and yes, i was planning on the one that came with the accufab, fits perfect.

Edelbrock makes 2 and GMPP makes one. All of which are for cathedral port heads. Then GMPP makes a L92 and LS7 carb intake also. Good thread. I'm converting to a vic jr. with my new engine going in soon.

I welded some bungs on mine and used some brab fittings and NPT bosses for my threaded sensor.

no I just put it on the car the way I got it used. I havent sprayed my motor yet. Some of those nx plates a cool.

i got the new gen 3 plate from nx, sprays around the side, it was a more fog style then the spray bar. we tested both. the spray bar only hit the 4 side runners, the new plate hit the hole thing, so be carefull

it will, I talked to nitro dave he's gonna hook me up... he's the man for **** like that... Vic JR intake w/ custom sheetmetal elbow, and spray bar drilled inside the intake for the 1st stage.... gonna keep u peeps posted...

i had Speed inc rails, and they would not work.

PS, dave is the man.
i think this winter he will be doing spray bars for me as well for a 1st or 2nd stage
