get some slicks on the car and get to a good track once your clutch issues are strait, you have a similar setup ( iron block vs my alum, and less compression) to mine, you should be running like the times in my sig. once you have it figured out.

lol well thats where it gets tricky
3593 me in it.
front suspension stock with lowering springs.
rear spohn heim joint lowers chromoly/ tq arm -2.5 pinion angle/ stock springs cut to match the front lower height.

my plan is to do some front coil overs and rear drag shock.

you've definately got some more potential in the car if that is the suspenion setup, those lowering springs never seem that great at the track from what I have seen.

Get some stock springs back on the car and some qa1 12 way rears, R series fronts, and see what that will get ya.

Rip the front swaybar off too, that will do wonders if you haven't already. Just don't drive like a nut on the street with it off.

i have a set of 27" et streets also, dag gum our setups are so eerie similar. i have qa1 on the front already but when i took it to the track i didn't have my lca brackets on and left the shocks on full stiff. left at 5k and needless to say i think i seen a turtle hole shot me dropped the rpms down to 2500 and it finally pulled off a 1.7x 60' but i never got in a clean full pass to see what it is capable of. next time i'm going to set the shocks softer and hope for a 1.6 60' and maybe a 7.2x or 7.3x at 100 mph or so.
