Default Driveshaft recommendation Mustang/LSx/9"

I need to order a custom driveshaft for my mustang. Plans are 1500hp+ @ the flywheel, powerglide on a brake and a combination of drag radials and 28 x 10.5" slicks. Any recommendations on comany and material would be appreciated.

Get the measurements you need and order a Bickel Chromoly driveshaft. Great product at a great price.

Thanks guys, both were very close in cost, Mark Williams was 2-3 days out on a chromoly and Jerry Bickel was 2 weeks days or vice versa. Once I measure the length they said we can figure out if we need 3" or 3.5".

I went with a 4" alum. driveshaft from PST. They were great people to deal with and had the driveshaft made and shipped out within 2 days for me. You may want to try them.

69vette,
Thanks for the reply. Is there anything that makes one 3.5" CM driveshaft better than another or are they all basically the same?

I would think all 3.5" CM friveshafts are going to be roughly the same. Your going to have differnt options on the yoke and u joints to choose from. Just go to a company you trust and that is going to treat you right.

Ended up going with a Custom Jerry Bickel driveshaft. Went with a 3.5" chromoly, turn around time is a day. I wanted to get a carbon fiber but it was double the cost and only 1/2 the weight.

I have the same one and am pretty sure its just DOM steel. I am very happy with it though, but its too heavy to be chromoly

Well, retail and wholesale are two different things. My budget is done and don't have any money until I sell some stuff.
