Default Wheel stud help

I'm looking to put some longer wheel studs on the front of my car. I run weld draglite 15x3.5 with 1 3/4 BS and a 5/16 spacer. Will the ARP 2.5 in press in studs be long enough to be legal or should I just drill and tap the hub for 1/2-20 3" stud? I already got the rear 1/2-20 3" just need some help w/ the fronts thanks.

You need the ARP 3.25 studs. I just finished installing these and they are perfect. To be legal you will need the stud to stick out of the lugnut as far as the stud is thick. I also put the grinder on my front calipers and made the wheels fit with out spacers. You can get the studs from Summit Racing. This is the part # ARP-100-7713. ARP is proud of these suckers though 29.95 for 5 studs. After looking at mine I don't think the 2.5's would be enough

close, it only has to stick into the hex the thickness if the thread[sec 5.2 of the rule book] but longer wont hurt only shorter

Get the 3.25 ones that are stock thread, and put them in. Easy to do, whack the old studs twice with a good hammer, they will come right out. Draw the new ones in with a bolt and a washer/piece of steel pipe. That's how I did mine.

2.5 are not long enough to be legal. I just switched over to the 3.25s for my front a few days ago from 2.5s.
