My car is also a weekend warrior and i think im going to try the hoosiers on my 17x11 street rims. I have longer 3'' studs for the prostars and dont want to have to constantly change them so i think i might run a spacer and truck lugs to cover the longer studs and maybe squeeze the 335/35/17 hoosier dr's on there. Ill have to see how the wheels look spaced out a bit. The section width on the 335's is 13.5 and my mt's are 13.1 so .4 isnt much and i have some room between where the bump stop was and the tire.
How much softer is the sidewall on the hoosier compared to other dr's. My 315/35 bfg's were softer but not bad at all and the 28'' mt dr i have on a 15'' rim are almost too soft for street driving.

My 315 Hoosiers are wider than my 315 MT's. My MT's used to hit the fender lips during hard corners and the Hoosiers would have hit much easier, I can't imagine the 335's. I can imagine that not only would they not fit right, but stick out too damn far to look right. I rolled my fender lips all the way under with the old-school BFH mod.
The hoosiers were also taller unmounted than my MT's were still mounted on the car.

Yah it probably is more hassle than its worth, but im gonna check to see what it looks like with the 17x11's spaced out with a 5/16 spacer. Its the same spacer i use with my 15x10's rims. Im sure ill just end up going with the 315's sicne i might end up lowering the car.

After driving around on the hoosier dr's for a month now, I'd have to say I liked the bfg 315 dr's much better. Yes the hoosiers are sticker but they handle like complete ****. They are just as bad as my big sidewall 325/50/15 mt dr's. I dont think ill be going to a set of these again, but who knows if i will ever get a set bfg or mt 315/35/17. They're always on back order.

the MT is the best of both worlds.... or used to be. prolly wont ever see another set in my lifetime, LOL.
as little as i drive mine, id prefer the hoosiers more if they lasted a lil bit longer.
