Default comp eng shocks and relo brackets and worse traction???

okay, my car has the eibach prokit with bmr tubular lower control arms and an adjustable track bar with a "welded solid" panhard bar. i also installed some lower control arm relocation brackets "set on the lowest hole". i got 15x10 draglites with 275-50-15 mt drag radials... street was pretty good if you if you came off of idle but u could rev to much "1800 rpms" without spin. it hooked good at the track anything below "2100 rpms". it runs 1.9 60's with a 12.38 1/4 mile.
it seems it hooked better with the stock shocks out back???
btw it's a m6 with 380 rwhp

now i put some comp eng shocks out back set on the 50\50. i haven't went to the strip yet but street traction just went to ****! i can leave off idle and it spins like a ****??? what's up? i'm still runnin on the same pavement but it sux now.. i was hoping for some 3000+ rpm launches any ideas... i haven't checked pinion angle with the relocator brackets and comp eng shocks.. could this be the culprit or do i just need to soften up the adjustment on the shocks? i'm itching to run some high 11's. any info is greatly appreciated...

My Comp. Eng. rears were too tight on 50/50, I moved them to the softest setting and that worked out fo me...

Check your pinion angle. My car is lowered with QA1 coilovers in front, cut stock springs in back with Comp Engineering shocks set at 50/50, and relocation brackets set on the lowest setting. My car is stock internals and I cut 1.55 60fts on a 26" drag radial, and can launch the car off a foot brake at 3000 rpms (I have a 4400 converter and 3.42 gears out back) with no spin.

well, went to the track last nite and the the comp shocks helped. it stuck good but i didn't launch it cause the 10 bolt. i did leave at about 2500rpms and it stuck.. went 12.44@116. gained mph from 109 to 116 but the time fell off from 12.38 to 12.44. wtf???
nitrous connections were bad so i didn't make a good n2o run. i know it's got 11's on motor in it!

With a 116mph trap speed at 12.44 means you were spinning or not launching very hard. Your E.T. would be lower if you launched harder. What was the 60ft on that pass?

1.96 60ft
seems like every pass is the same 60ft.
it didn't spin launching at 2500rpms. it did spin a bit going into second gear.
i should've tried to launch at 3500-4000 rpms but i was afraid of the rear letting go. if i can get the 60ft down i'm sure i'll make a damn good pass.

Default 3500 launch

I've been launching almost every friday at 3500 for past 2 months on stock 10 bolt. It's still holding up. Cutting a pretty consistent 2.00 sixty on a basically stock set up.

109 to 116 is a huge change. Somthing else changed its not the shocks.

comp eng shocks, AIR deletion, and i run it out in 4th gear instead of shifting into 5th, installed a nitrous plate behind the throttle body (no nitrous was used on this pass).
those are the only things that got changed from the 12.38@109 pass to the 12.44@116 pass... don't make sense to me. both 60ft's were the same 1.96. next time i'm just gonna let it loose off the line and if the 10 bolt goes then it goes.. this damn car will go 11's on motor.

what gears are in your car. what is your limiter set at. what i'm saying is why would you have to shift into 5th for. if you had 4.56's and stock limiter and trapping 120+ then you probably would have to shift in 5th but not at 109mph. what is your setup?

4.11's, 275/50/15 mt dr's, rev limiter set at 6300rpms. leaving it in 4th it bumps the rev limiter as soon as i pass the 1/4 mile mark.
