Default Dash Board Pros.....inside please...asap

i took the dash apart, everything is fine and i got the air bag out.

i noticed 2 metal (galvanized) piece near the pillars. did you take them out as well? are they important? i got one out to see what the weight was.

ps in the mean time while im waiting for someone to post ill be taking that sticky black stuff off the top of the dash.

I popped them out and put duct tape over the holes.

Those go to the fresh air on the cowl, not worth the weight really, scraping all the sound insulation off the top adds up to more probably

ok so i took those metal pieces out, they weighed 1lb total and the sound deadening stuff was 2lbs. also took out thefoam tht was under the upper dash board.

so now after doing the kmember and aarms last week and removing the pass airbag and the little stuff in the dash. ive dropped 45 lbs in the last week

Make sure and tape up those holes and the big square hole under the dash where the heater box used to go. Thats all connected to the outside and if you have a little smoke under the hood or roll through someone else's burnout smoke it will be right in there with ya

i left the heater core and vents in, i wanna be warm when driving in the fall/winter lol.
