G5X-2 Breaks the 'Cam only' record again. US41,the MFBA track rental.
I don't know what the DA was(+1000?)small tail wind.
Raceweight around 3100(give or take 10#)
I ripped off a 11.086@123.63(1.569) backed by some 11.1's and 11.2's.
11.4 with traction problems and an 11.6 with traction problems and missing 4th gear.
I have a few more tricks up my sleeve and I will see a 10 sec time slip by fall.

Re: G5X-2 Breaks the 'Cam only' record again. How did you break the cam only record? Those are awesome times, but I think someone has already ran 10.98's with cam only.. I would check Futral Motorsports website or the tab that says ls1tech.com members 1/4th mile ET lists.. Mike H. is the cam only champ right now at 3300lbs.. I still have to give you props though. That is crazy fast..

in the same air , and my car is completely stock. I'm sure I can make that up with
a good reaction time and with power shifting. :p If you change the clutch fluid
and go back to the track on a Friday or Saturday night , you should be able to get
into the 10's. So close and yet so far away.

If the driver weighs 200lbs, then the car is really only 2900lbs.
Not saying the car ain't fast as hell, but don't forget it weighs 600 lbs less than a full weight car.
Drop 600 lbs off some of the other 11 sec cam-only LS1 cars out here, and I'm sure your'e talkin' 11.00's as well. It's just that most people dont go through the trouble of putting their car on a 600 lb. Jenny Craig diet.
