Using a rough calculator its telling me I can drop 2-2.4# of boost on the hit and 6# down track and still net the same Hp/LB ratio.

I would love to be able to leave with 4-4.5# of boost. Would eliminate some issues we were having....
Ok its a secert size. LOL ... didnt know that.

Why are you trying to use less boost? were you having trouble keeping the motor together?

Did you dyno motor with no turbo? if not what kinda hp do you think it would make?

It was a 4.00, now its a 4.250. We dont have a problem with the motor, its getting the boost in quick enough, if the motor is mechanically able to make 10# of boost and you only use 4-5, than you can bring in that 5-psi pretty quick. If the motor can make 8 and you use 6, the boost wont come in as fast. It should make a solid 600rwhp at 30# of boost.

4.25 .. hell it will 60' good with no boost. LOL!

I see.

Isnt it something like every 16lbs doubles your N/A HP?
will you put 30lbs on this motor? if so it should run OK.

On most motors you can double the HP at 14.7# of boost. We intend on running 35-45# of boost or so at 2900-3000#. How fast will it go to the 1/8 mile? What do you think the motor will make? 700-850?

2500+hp ... neat. LOL !

850-900+ depending on compression & cam.

We made 968 with no sheetmetal or dry sump... on C23 and #10 plugs
I'm sure we could have got more but we dont race dyno's.

any idea what part of the compressor map youll be running or is that secret because of the wheel?

because you are effectively causing a 200% VE at 14.7# you effectively double the size of the engine/double the power with boost. would be neat to see the dynamic airflow and cylair numbers when its buttoned up.

More cubes with same jet = easier on the parts ... thinkin maybe not for boosted motor.
isnt N20 a set amount on the same pill? because boost numbers are resistance to airflow, the better the engine breaths, the more power you make at the same boost level. hed be able to lower the boost level to make the same power.

i think the engine size and compression is 2-3 pages back..lol

Got all of the remaining water system parts fabricated this morning, distributor showed up, intake should be done today or tomorrow and still need the fuel pump.

Basically I've got:
Ic pipe
possibly firewall modifications
finish up the water system
and some small odds and ends.

What intake gaskets are you using? We wont have time to o-ring them...
