He probably has 1 or 2 massive trans coolers to keep the temps down.

I've got 2, one air to air with a fan, its 17x12 and one that is water cooled and is 6 x 12. Tranny temps don't move.

1.10 short time seems like a gamble, even on a great track... with as much HP as youre making i'd work hard in the 60 to the 330' area.

marty isn't setting the world on fire with his short times but his 330' and back half are pretty decent to say the least.

I think at MIR a 1.10 is just tickling the surface of what CAN be done. Some of the quickest 60 fts on radials have happened at MIR and thats the track Phil primarily runs at.

Mine is filled completely, the deck is welded up solid and the heads have water in them.

on gas I would half fill and call it a day.

I agree. He started this when I was in high school now I have 4 years service in the Navy. I think that car with a smaller turbo would DESTROY x275. It wouldnt even be a contest.

Yeah, this year has been phucked up for sure. Between schedule, work, weather, crew, ect.. Its been a tough year. Had one really good outting. went 4.6x off the trailer and continuted to work on the short times. Really just need time to make some hits and work on the tuneup.

Well glad to hear that youve gotten a chance with it this year and no real failures or set backs to speak of. Thats nice to hear.

Hopefully next season you can get that thing out and run into the sixes.

You should post up some current pics of the car... almost forgot what she looks like, lol
