Looks sick. Did you make your car into a custom targa roof?

No I did not but with the new support of the cage I very well could, being the car is tied up well now. On that note it was unbeliveably hard to get the roof back on with the headliner in the way. I had to try to slide the liner back and do the 4 front bolts Then move the liner to the installed position and work between the bar, headliner and roof to get the rear 6 bolts in. It was very hard and time consuming but i got it done along with the rear sailpanel plastics and the roof bow plastics. Nexted on the list is the dash and guages.

rustoleum semi-gloss enamel.

I normaly use plasti-coat and I have used painters choice or something like that. Its the homedepot brand for a customer he wanted a custom color he picked out to match his tan interior. The biggest thing is the prep work. Every pipe needs to be scuffed and sanded, red scotchbrite pads work the best. Before and after sanding the bar needs to be wiped down with lacquer thinner. Make sure any tape glue from shipping is removed with the thinner the first time. Because then if you scuff it with the glue you will be scuffing glue not pipe. Scuffing = adheasion, your giving the paint more surface area to stick to.

That looks awesome. It'll be very interesting to see what it does at the shootout!

Wow! You put a cage in a new Z06, can't be too many of those out there. Any times that you would like to disclose?
